Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Clinic
Building Independence Through Real-Life Experiences
At Little Tesla Pediatric Therapy, children learn best through real-life experiences. Our Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Clinic is designed as a cozy, fully functional one-bedroom apartment, complete with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, washer, and dryer. This natural, home-like setting allows children to practice everyday routines while building confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Children engage in meaningful daily activities, such as preparing simple meals, using the dishwasher, putting dishes away, folding laundry, and making their beds. Therapy is practical, hands-on, and focused on real-world success.

Specialty Training Spaces
To support functional learning beyond the home, Little Tesla offers multiple real-world simulation environments, all designed with one goal: helping children feel confident, independent, and ready for life’s daily adventures.
ADL Home Clinic
A life-skills apartment where children learn cooking, laundry, bed-making, organization, and household routines in a realistic home setting.
Hair Salon Simulation Room
A sensory-friendly salon environment where children explore grooming tools, practice haircut routines, and build comfort with hair care through calm, guided role-play.
Doctor & Dentist Simulation Clinic
A realistic medical and dental play space where children practice appointment routines using authentic tools, helping reduce anxiety and increase cooperation during real visits.
Restaurant & Café Simulation
A playful dining environment where children practice eating skills, table manners, ordering food, and social interaction to feel calm and capable in public settings.
Store Simulation (Coming Soon)
A mini store environment under development where children will learn shopping skills, money handling, communication, and turn-taking through interactive role-play.
Practice Visit Training Room
This space helps children prepare for real-life visits such as the dentist, doctor, or hairstylist through guided, play-based practice. In a calm, realistic setting, children learn to sit comfortably, follow simple routines, tolerate touch, and become familiar with common equipment.
This training builds confidence, reduces anxiety, and supports smoother, more successful appointments - especially for children with sensory sensitivities or developmental differences.
